The coastal and backcountry waters of Southwest Florida are defined by endless miles of mangrove estuaries forming unlimited creeks and bays. Snook, redfish, tarpon, trout, pompano, bonita, sharks and other saltwater species are in abundance depending on the time of year. In addition dolphins, manatees, egrets, herons, bald eagles, osprey and a host of other wildlife is abundant.

Cancellation Policy for All Trips: In the event you have to cancel we will make every effort to rebook the trip. If we are unable to rebook, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged between 30 and 14 days before the trip and 100% will be charged less than two weeks before the trip.

Not much, hat, sunglasses, sunblock, anything you want to drink besides water and anything you want to eat.

Water flows south out of Lake Okeechobee across south Florida and creates the Everglades, this boundary areas where this water exits the Everglades and flows to the Gulf of Mexico is a boundless saltwater estuary consisting of miles and miles of pristine mangrove forests, creeks and bays. Rookery Bay National Estuarine Reserve, 10,000 Islands and the Everglades National Park is where it’s at.

Good possibility depending on the time of year. In the warmer months tarpon, sharks, bonita, mackerel and redfish frequent the beaches and/or near shore wrecks.

Fishing license, all bait and tackle, cooler, water and a great experience.

Up to three anglers. We’ll be fishing on a shallow running Silver King 19’ specialized backcountry fishing boat powered by a Mercury 150 hp engine.

Half day (4 hours), 3/4 day (6 hours) or full day (8 hour).

We’ll use spinning rods using either live bait (pilchards or live shrimp) or artificials using jigs or plugs. Fly fishing is also available.

Snook, redfish, tarpon, sharks, pompano, speckled sea trout are the main targets although we could also catch mackerel, jack crevalle, mangrove snapper, permit, bonita and more.

No, but sometimes we may be near a marina or there are other options.

The water depth averages between 3’ to 8’ deep.

Of course as long as I’m open.

Yes, tips are appreciated and most fishing guides receive tips after the trips between $25 and $100 but is up to you.
